Over 100 arithmetic tests

Maths.co.uk has over 100 KS1 and KS2 arithmetic papers for all year groups. There are also additional KS2 arithmetic questions to support Y6 children as they prepare for the KS2 SATs.

Space for working out

The KS1 and KS2 arithmetic tests on Maths.co.uk are completed online, and space is provided for children to show their working out on screen if they wish – either with a mouse or touchscreen. Any ‘working out’ is saved and the arithmetic questions and answers can be reviewed by both the child and their teacher.

Example answers

Once children have completed a KS2 or KS1 arithmetic test, they can view their answers and also view example answers too. This is very helpful when children have got an answer wrong. They can compare their working out with the example answer and quickly see where they went wrong.

Instant marking

Once a child has completed a KS1 arithmetic paper or a KS2 arithmetic paper, it is automaticaly marked. Reporting tools allow a teacher to see which arithmetic questions each child got wrong. Teachers can also view children’s answers and identify whole-class weaknesses.

Detailed gap analysis

Gap analysis from an arithmetic paper allows a teacher to find the weakest National Curriculum objectives, weakest areas of maths or arithmetic questions that children find most difficult. The data can be filtered to find gaps for specific children and the reports can be downloaded.
